Today is Thursday and what happens on Thursday??? Makenzie goes to gymnastics! Below are some pictures that were taken last week at her class that I felt the need to post! She is still answering my "what did you do Kenzie" question with "jump" so lets hope that the more classes she goes to she will have a different reply! My kisser is getting so big and it is so exciting to she her try different things and actual enjoy them!

Hello everyone! Its been a while!!! I really need to get better at this blog thing but o-well! So the past couple of months have been filled with stress and now the stress is coming to an end! We are in contract in on our house! Someone is buying it and can I tell you that I am extremely excited! We are set to close on the 11th of September, which would not have been a day I would have picked but at least it will be sold! We basically got what we were expecting if not a little more and the lady buying the house seems to be really cool! I find now that the house is almost gone and that we are in contract that I am more tired. Could be that the stress of it all is basically gone and now I can relax, yeah right! Inspection went as well as con be expected and now we are just waiting and doing some minor repairs! Sept. 11th people!!! We are going to be homeless, or at least people who do not own a home!!!!
Besides the house thing we have been pretty busy with the girls! Makenzie started gymnastics for the first time last Thursday! I was a little nervous dropping her off but she did great. She cried a little when we first got there but after that she was fine, such a big girl! An hour later I picked her up and she had the biggest smile on her face which I hoped that it was because she had such a great time! I asked her if she had fun and she said "yep" and then I asked her what she did and she said "I jumped!" Well that was exciting in itself so I asked her "and than what did you do?" She replied "I jumped again!" Kids are so funny!
Whitney is busy getting into things and trouble! I am figuring out little by little that she is Chance reborn into a girl with red hair! She has his same temperament, facial expressions, and attitude! It is so funny to sit and watch her and than look over to Chance and think so thats what you were like when you were a baby! She is talking a lot more and getting the I am gonna do it no matter what you say attitude, which is always fun! Kenzie and her have their battles but for the most part they are great friends and complete opposites! Life is good in the Diaz house...for now!!! Check back later!
P.S.- Seems like everyone I know has upated their blog and since I have major OCD I decided to get on the bandwagon! Hope ya like it!

This past weekend end was very busy! Friday we drove to Texas in hopes of finding some tile for our kitchen. We thought that we would have to replace the whole kitchen floor because of course the lack of rain caused our house to shift but Chance was certain that we had extra tile! When we arrived Chance went to the attic and what do you know there were extra tile and just enough to fix the kitchen floor! So of course I had to call me handy dandy dad to please come and fix my floor! They did and instead of spending lots of money to fix the floor we only spent $60!!!!! Yay for us! Than on Saturday me and mom stopped at the gas station to get something and what do you know I found a dollar on the ground! Looks like our luck was on the up and up, maybe I should buy a lotto ticket????! Chance and Bernard worked on the house and floor all day on Saturday and that evening we went to Delmars 30th birthday party! We had a blast hangin out with friends and listening to good music! There was a live band!!!! Than on Sunday we got up, cleaned, finished tile and left! During all of this Kenzie got to hang out with one of her FAVORITE friends in the whole world Bubba!!!!! They played the whole weekend and man was it hard to leave! She sure misses her Bubba! We sure do miss our friends and neighbors and it makes it very difficult to leave! Nuf of that before I cry!
Sooooooo after we left on Sunday we have had several lookers and possible more than one buyer! We should be hearing something real soon!!!! Love to you all and Check Ya Later!!! Happy Birthday OLD MAN DELMAR!!!!

Fourth of July was really fun this year! We were invited to a get together at my brothers house in Lafayette on Saturday. We swam, ate BBQ, and watched the home made fireworks show! The girls had such a great time playing in the pool and did not want to get out. My brother also pulled out his four wheelers for everyone to ride. Katey's brother had the tallest four wheeler I have ever seen (picture below) and I thought it would be fun for Kenzie to take a ride on it since it was a large one I thought she might like it! Wrong...Jeff took her on a short trip around the yard and she wanted off...like when he started to move. She did not like it at all so maybe in a few years we will try again!!! Ha Ha! When the sun started to go down Jeff and his friends began to pop the truck load of fireworks they had and we all watched. Whitney could not get that when the firework popped she had to look up to see the affect so she just kept looking at the firework pop and not looking up. O well she still enjoyed it! Kenzie got to hold he very own sparkler and she loved it. It kinda scared me though because it was somewhat a large on and she kept putting it above her head and I though the wick was going to drop on her head, which would have been really bad. After that we went to my moms house and got to visit with Rell (one of my dad's oldest friends) and his wife Varsha. I think we have not seen him since Makenzie was a baby so it was good to visit with them! The next day we got up and hang out with my wonderful parents, Herb and Ella and then headed home for some relaxation! Fourth of July weekend was really awesome, thanks everybody for inviting us to celebrate with you!!!
