Wow what a weekend we had this past weekend! I think I am going to be tired for a while! So this past weekend we went to my mom and dads to visit and attend alot of parties! On Friday my dad watched the girls so that I could go do some shopping BY MYSELF! That does not happen very often and can I just say that it was heaven! Loved it!!! Than that evening we had a great dinner, one of my favs, and than off to bed! Saturday we woke up and the craziness began! We went to football game, my nephews birthday party, a friend of ours little girls birthday party and than my sisters birthday party! At my sisters bday party there was a little boy probably 7 or 8 yrs old who impersonated Micheal Jackson (his dancing) and he was absolutely awesome! When we got home it was off to bed for obvious reasons and than Sunday the last event was the Superbowl for little league! My nephews team won the SUPERBOWL!!!! After that I think I was pretty much done! Oh and my dad decided it was a good idea to give Kenzie ice cream for breakfast and not just one bowl either! Really Bernard!!! That was a first for her and I think from than on their house is her most favorite place to go! After the game we hung out for a while and traveled back to the camp and relaxed! It was a great weekend and this past weekend is one of the reason why I love living down here!!!
Chance turned the big 3...0... yesterday! He is so old!!!! Not really but it is really fun to crack on him about it! His brother asked him if he felt different being in another age group and his answer was he felt the same as he did the day before! Guys have it so easy, when a woman turns 30 or 40 or 50 it is like a huge depressing ordeal for most, not for men! Happy 30Th birthday Chance!!! I know that the hill is getting harder to climb but we are hear to help push you along! Love Ya!

OOOHHHH  Halloween!!!  The Halloween festivities are a little different down here!  A float was made to go trick or treating and I have to say we had the best time!  The truck pulled the trailer around and when it stopped we all jumped out and went trick or treating!  Whitney was running up and down the streets like she had now care in the world as to where she was going and Kenzie was loving the fact that she was getting candy!  We collected so much candy that I was glad I brought a walmart bag for the overflow!  We started at 5pm and did not get back and off the float until about 7:30pm.  We had a blast!  I have never really liked Halloween but now I can say that I look forward to next year!  It was like a Halloween parade!!!  Thanks to the everyone involved for making this happen!

On October 9th 2008 Peggy Diaz went to be with God and his angels.  Peggy fought a short battle with cancer and end the end God needed her much more than we did so he called her up to his home in heaven.  Peggy was a wonderful person who loved to have a good time and meet new people.  She was intellegent, beautiful, loving, caring, and welcoming.  Peggy is extremely missed and will be forever loved by us all!  Please say a prayer today as we remember this day and the woman that lost.

Love you!

This past weekend we enjoyed spending time with our best friends Philip, Michelle and Preston!!!  They came in Thursday and left to go back home on Sunday evening!  We had such a great time!  We went to Baton Rouge to locate a Les Miles hat (which we found several), went to Mall of Louisiana (loved it), rode the carousel (Kenzie was the only one who was not scared) and than ate at Don's Seafood (YUMMY)!!!  Saturday we went to New Orleans to check out the wildlife (the zoo) and it was awesome!  There was a man walking around feeding the animals and there was an elephant show.  Unlike the Houston zoo the animals were actually awake and moving around!  We had such a great time and the best part was we wore the kiddos out!!!  Sunday it rained so we pretty much hung around the camp and the boys fished!  We miss our friends and it was very hard to say goodbye to them when they had to leave.  I am so glad they made the journey down here to see us and we made plans to do this again!  We love the Day's!!!!!

P.S. if you have not been, you must go because the New Orleans Zoo is wonderful!!!!
